All About Prints

Prints on canvas are my most popular print format. The canvas is hand-stretched and wrapped around a 1.5″ thick wood frame. Your print will arrive ready to hang on the wall. The art you select wraps around the frame for a stunning look at every angle. No framing or extra hardware is required.

The digital printing process I use is called giclee (zhee-CLAY). Giclees are produced from high resolution digital photography of existing originals. This type of printing is superior to traditional lithography in nearly every way. The colors are brighter, longer lasting, and are so high-resolution that they have a virtually continuous tone. Giclee prints are coveted by collectors for their fidelity and quality, and desired by galleries because they so accurately reproduce the original works.

If you prefer the framed look, prints on paper are for you. I use giclee printing on archival and acid free paper with a matte finish. This fine art matte paper has a clean, simple and flat surface. Smooth to the touch, and easy on the eye, the inks are layed in the finest manner. Each paper print is cut leaving a 2 inch white border around the edges, which allows for matting and framing later. Your prints arrive rolled in a tube. At this time, I do not offer framing, but I am always available for frame consulting.
