“Late Bloomer” was created for Cultura Exhibition.  The title is a nod to how many times I reworked this canvas to reach a result I was willing to share with the world.  This canvas has been three other paintings previously over the past 12 years. Did you know artists paint over and over old paintings until they get the results they are willing to show the world? This blue and hot pink color palette feels a little bit French or maybe even a study for a Wedgewood pattern.
